That's right, we're all up in your business, warning your asses once again.

This game contains text and still image scenes depicting explicit violence.
Also, this review contains spoilers for both Corpse Party and Corpse Party: Book of Shadows..

Again, most of the nastiest stuff is text-based, and we've done our best to avoid huge spoilers so you may not get the full impact. However, some of the screenshots used are unsettling (including but not limited to dead bodies and a close-up with some unnerving text), and half the fun of a Corpse Party game is the story, so even the small details might count as a spoiler for the die-hards amongst you. And, just for fun, we spoil some parts of the first game too, for the fate of the Book of Shadows is intrinsically linked to the first game. There's really no getting around it. However, we've come up with a system!

There are four different versions of this article- one completely uncensored, one with censored images but no spoilers, one with spoilers but censored images, and one with censored images and relatively spoiler-free. Now, we say relatively spoiler-free because unfortunately most of the chapters in Book of Shadows require a knowledge of the first game to understand, including some that follow on from Wrong Ends in the first game, so... Yeah, this is going to be confusing. Basically, expect spoilers for the first game whichever review you pick, but the ones with less Book of Shadows spoilers remove any references to character deaths from either game and don't tell you explicitly how chapters in Book of Shadows are linked to Wrong Ends from the first game. To be honest, though, you basically need to beat the first game to understand Book of Shadows at all, so...
