Oh, another Warning page! It's been a while, huh?

This game contains scenes that some readers may find unsettling.
Also, this review contains details that may be considered spoilers for htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary..

Of course, it's only now that I realise I feel the need to warn you about this game but not, say, Splatterhouse. Thing is, this is two warnings in one, so I figured I'd warn you about the game's darker elements too. This review tries to use as few unsettling images as possible- you won't believe the amount of umming and ahhing over which to use- but it's still a little grim, and I had to try and convey that a little bit. If you'd like to know more specifically what we're talking about, there's some highlightable text that details the most unsettling scenes, so consider this your advanced warning. Also of note, htoL#NiQ's story is told with almost no text, so you basically have to figure it out on your own, and two of our screenshots are from the cutscenes where the plot's doled out- that might kind as spoilers 'cause it's all visual, ya know? Oh, and we talk in-depth about certain puzzles / sections of the game. They might be spoilers too.

I'm just covering myself, basically. And if it's that important to you... Go read about a game with no story, got it?

We good to go, kid? Then get ready to enter the hopeless future of the year 9999...
